Finding YOUR style!
A lot of people tend to overlook this stage when it comes to decorating and designing. And when they do notice it, they often box it strict categories. I'm here to show you that it doesn't have to be complicated! By breaking down design barriers, sharing some tips and tricks, and showing you my go-to methods before starting any project we can make it way easier.

Removing description barriers:
We are going to start with the idea of removing design boundaries. sure you've heard the terms "Traditional," "Modern," "Coastal," "Bohemian," etc. While all of these are descriptors, their generalization confusion, restrictions, and often times, no one fits into a single category. Instead using these terms, let's broaden our options by adding many more adjectives that you can choose from to help with your search, narrowing down what truly speaks you!

Discover the countless options available instead of limiting yourself to just one descriptor for your home. Rather than searching for "coastal," you can explore designs that embody "light and airy" or "breezy" aesthetics.
5 photo method:
The next method I'll be sharing with you is what I call the 5 Photo method. to execute this method you will find 5 photos of rooms or styles that you really enjoy and then start to pick and choose what it is that you like from each photograph. I.E "lighting" "wallpaper" "paint color", "decor". This way instead of trying to copy and paste a particular design, you have an idea of what to look fro and descriptors to search fro when shopping for the design elements of your space.
