House Hunting
There's something equal parts thrilling and nerve-wracking about house hunting, like you're chasing a feeling in a home that you can't quite but somehow know instantly when you see it. If you're like us and you aren't working with a sky-high budget, keep in mind that you will have to a "must-haves, semi-negotiable, and absolutely not" list. Your list will most likely look very different from ours based on needs and wants!
Your MUST haves:
For us the absolute must haves consists of mainly things we "can't" change about the home. Think Blueprint/ layouts/ construction.
-
Square footage
-
3+ Bedrooms - 2+ Bedrooms
-
Large kitchen space
-
Two stall garage/workspace/storage
-
Up to date HVAC
-
Semi-New roofing

Semi-Negotiable
The things you could (but don't want to) live without, and the things you really don't (but could) live with. These are things that for us we would be willing to put money into changing.
Really want:
-
Gas stove
-
Jack and Jill sink in master bath
-
Fireplace (this one will take a lot to budge)
-
Fenced in backyard
Really don't want:
-
Smaller lot size
-
Needs new flooring
-
Bad backyard (for the pups!)
-
New construction

Your "No-Go"' list
This should have the same but opposite feeling as your "MUST" haves list. These are the things you absolutely cannot have in your space. Ours may look very different from yours, and that's okay!
-
In-ground pool
-
Under 1,600 sq. ft.
-
Any large immediate renovations
